Home Works is the framework to support Central Virginia's growing Home School community, while preserving the integrity of the parent's place as the educator, of the individual cooperatives that meet all over the city, of sports teams and science clubs.

Home Works is a place for parents to work individually or together to fully realize their own personal homeschooling plan.

New Facility now open at Court Street United Methodist Church
In a beautiful stone building, erected in 1902, in the historic downtown Lynchburg, Home Works Lynchburg has found a home!
The dream has become a reality! A Hall, Library, 5 classrooms, a kitchen and several offices comprise the 'newly-dressed' HWL.

Court Street United Methodist Church
On Court Street, between 6th and 7th Streets
Park in the parking lot on 6th & Court.
Entrance is up the stone steps, through the stone portico, next to the playground.
Do not enter through the basement door (it is an Adult Day Care).
Once inside, come immediately up the stairs to the top floor and enter straight through the double doors.

HW Summer Hours

Need a break from summer break? Come on over to Home Works. There are rooms for the younger ones to play, books to peruse (or help catalog) in the library, and even some time to work out your fall schedule (before fall). Check below to see our summer hours. Come once or once a week, it's up to you.

• Monday July 12 : 1 - 4 pm
• Tuesdays July 20, 27 : 1 - 4 pm
• Tuesdays Aug 3, 10, 17, 24 : 1 - 4 pm
